The companies of the group (Mondorevive, Caltek e MondoSD) have a UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System and UNI EN ISO 14001: 2015 Environmental Management System certified by CSI Spa. The entire organization has adopted a Code of Ethics for share with its employees, suppliers and partners respect for the ethical and social values that are an integral part of the Mondorevive SpA group

Busto Arsizio’s PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM

The companies of the group are constantly renewing themselves by paying meticulous attention to details aimed at the environment. The Busto Arsizio plant has had a photovoltaic system since 2011 as a source of clean energy capable of producing 223,487 kWh / year. Being a renewable source, it allows the Mondorevive S.p.a. of Busto Arsizio to reduce polluting emissions into the atmosphere and to keep up with the times. To produce one kilowatt hour of electricity, the equivalent of 2.56 kWh is burned on average in the form of fossil fuels and consequently approximately 0.5 kg of carbon dioxide is emitted into the air (emission factor of the Italian electricity mix for distribution). It can therefore be said that each kWh produced by the photovoltaic system avoids the emission of 0.5 kg of carbon dioxide.

Ferentino’s PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM

The Mondorevive S.p.a. – From 2020 Ferentino follows in the footsteps of the parent company by also installing a photovoltaic system capable of producing 1,042,000 kWh / year, avoiding the production of 552 tons / year of CO2. In other words, the photovoltaic source is the only one that does not require moving parts or fluid circulation at high temperatures or under pressure. Consequently this is a decisive technical advantage for the safety of the environment.

THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY ACCORDING TO MONDOREVIVE GROUP

OUR PROJECT FOR THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY

A long-term vision for a responsible and eco-sustainable future

Thanks to the acquisition of MondoSD, Mondorevive S.p.a. was able to launch a new sustainable development and circular economy project to encourage the use of recycled raw materials within the production cycle and value chain.

This project allows the recovery of plastic materials deriving from both industrial and post-consumer processes. We are able to issue the certification which confirms that the waste collected has been tracked and treated to become Secondary Raw Materials.

In conclusion, MondoSD has obtained the certification of its plastic management process for by-products (ref.art.184bis of Legislative Decree 152/06 and UNI 10667) and of the management of MPS Secondary Raw Materials (ref.art.184 ter of Legislative Decree 152/06 and UNI 10667).

Caltek S.r.l. makes the most of this opportunity for the recovery of its production waste.
